Becoming a CFI is the most efficient way to build hours toward an airline career and the most direct way into the TPP pipeline. We hire from our own training pipeline first.

Syllabus.

  1. 01

    Fundamentals of Instruction (FOI). Learning theory, teaching methods, evaluation.

  2. 02

    Right-seat flying. The maneuver demonstration is from the right seat.

  3. 03

    Lesson plans and ground school delivery on every PPL maneuver.

  4. 04

    CFI initial checkride. Typically a 4 to 6 hour event, oral plus flight.
