AeroTech.

The in-house operations platform. The software we built to run the management side of TPP. Available to managed-aircraft clients and to operators who license it.

AeroTech is the operations platform that runs the management side of The Pilot Port. It is also the platform we license to operators who want to run their flight departments the way we run ours.

What it covers: maintenance tracking and squawk triage, pilot records and currency, owner-facing reporting, lender-facing data exports, §91.23 lease document automation, and operator dashboards that surface what needs attention on a given day.

AeroTech also does demand generation. We surface qualified pilot, owner, and operator leads pulled from our sister platforms, built and operated by our parent company, Big Hatch. The same infrastructure that runs the management platform runs the lead engine that feeds it.

AeroTech is not a flight school product. It is not ground school. It is the operations stack. Built by an operator, used by operators, fed by an in-house demand engine.

Frequently asked

Common questions.

What is AeroTech?
AeroTech is the in-house operations platform that runs the management side of The Pilot Port. It covers maintenance tracking, pilot records and currency, owner-facing reporting, lender-facing data exports, §91.23 lease document automation, and operator dashboards. It is also available to operators who want to license it for their own flight department.
Does AeroTech integrate with QuickBooks?
AeroTech exports invoice and operating-cost data in formats that import into QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop. Direct API integration is on the roadmap; the current export pattern is what we use internally and it covers the common AP and owner-billing workflows.
Can AeroTech replace ForeFlight, CAMP, or Veryon?
No, and that is not the goal. AeroTech sits above the EFB and the formal MX tracking system, pulling data the operator already maintains and turning it into owner reporting, lender exports, and operator dashboards. It is a layer, not a replacement for the underlying tools.
Is AeroTech available to operators who are not TPP management clients?
Yes. AeroTech is licensed to outside operators on a scoped engagement. Pricing is driven by fleet size, user count, and the data exports the operator needs. Reach out and we will scope a fit.
What data can I export from AeroTech for a lender or appraiser?
Engine cycles, total time, inspection status against the next due dates, squawks open and closed, hours flown by reporting period, and operating cost summaries. Exports are produced in PDF for human consumption and CSV for downstream systems.
How does AeroTech handle §91.23 lease documents?
AeroTech templates the truth-in-leasing clause, generates the lease packet, tracks the FAA Oklahoma City filing status, and flags the 48-hour FSDO notification before the first flight. The operator still owns the legal review; the platform owns the paperwork choreography.
Where does AeroTech get its demand generation leads?
From sister platforms operated by our parent company, Big Hatch (bighatch.us). The same infrastructure that runs the management platform feeds qualified pilot, owner, and operator leads into AeroTech for operators who opt in to the lead pipeline.
Is AeroTech a flight training product?
No. AeroTech is the operations stack for managed-aircraft and operator workflows. Flight training programs are a separate side of The Pilot Port and use different tooling. See /flight-training for the training side.
