Aviation Solutions

Charter / pilot services.

Contract captains, second-in-command, ferry pilots, and on-demand pilot supply. Strictly Part 91, scoped per assignment.

Pilot supply, not Part 135 charter. We provide the pilot, the lessee provides the aircraft, the lease structure stays clean. SR20 SIC, SR22, light jet right-seat, ferry assignments.

For Part 135 work we refer out. The boundary respect is deliberate.

Frequently asked

Common questions.

What is a contract pilot and when do I need one?
A contract pilot is a credentialed pilot hired per assignment rather than employed full-time. Owners use them for trips when their primary pilot is unavailable, for SIC requirements on insurance-mandated two-pilot operations, for ferry flights, or for high-workload legs where a second set of hands is the right answer.
What is the difference between Part 91 pilot supply and Part 135 charter?
Under Part 91 pilot supply, you (or your lessee) hire the pilot to fly your aircraft for your own purposes. Under Part 135, an air carrier sells the flight as a service, providing both aircraft and crew. TPP provides pilots only, Part 91, scoped per assignment. Part 135 work gets referred out.
How are contract pilot rates structured?
Rates are scoped per assignment based on aircraft type, total duty time, overnights, currency requirements, and whether ferry positioning is needed. We quote per trip or per multi-day assignment rather than running a hourly retainer.
Can you supply an SIC for an SR22 or a light jet?
Yes. Right-seat assignments on Cirrus, light twins, turboprops, and entry-level jets are common scopes. The pilot we send is type-matched to the aircraft, current, and insurance-qualified before the assignment is confirmed.
Who is responsible for insurance on a contract pilot assignment?
The aircraft owner or lessee carries the hull and liability policy and adds the contract pilot as an approved pilot under the policy before the flight. We verify approved-pilot status and minimums in writing before any keys change hands.
Do you do ferry flights for aircraft purchases or relocations?
Yes. Ferry assignments are a regular scope. We handle pre-ferry inspection coordination, weather routing, insurance verification, and the delivery. Cross-country ferries and Bahamas runs from South Florida are routine.
What if I need ongoing pilot coverage, not a one-off?
Recurring pilot coverage is better structured as part of a fleet management engagement rather than a string of contract assignments. Reach out and we will scope which model fits the operating pattern.
